Hearing God’s Word Opens Our Spiritual Eyes

Welcome to Voice of Faith Daily, where the Word of God awakens faith, strengthens our hearts, and guides our daily walk with the Lord. Today we are reflecting on an important spiritual truth: Hearing God’s Word opens our spiritual eyes. Many people live their lives seeing only what is visible in the natural world. They interpret situations based only on circumstances, feelings, or human understanding. But the life of faith requires something deeper. It requires spiritual vision—the ability to see beyond the physical and understand what God is doing. The Word of God is the light that opens our understanding and reveals truth to our hearts. The Psalmist declared: “The entrance of Your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.” — Psalm 119:130 When God's Word enters our hearts, darkness begins to disappear and spiritual understanding begins to grow. 1. GOD’S WORD BRINGS SPIRITUAL LIGHT Before hearing God’s Word, many people live in spiritual darkness. They may not und...

The conflict between Iran and Israel has intensified dramatically, sending shockwaves across the Middle East and raising fears of a wider regional war. Over the past days, both sides have exchanged missile strikes, drone attacks, and large-scale air raids, with military operations expanding beyond their borders.  The latest escalation began after a major joint U.S.–Israeli military operation launched on February 28, 2026, targeting key Iranian military and intelligence sites in Tehran and other cities. The campaign, reportedly aimed at weakening Iran’s military capabilities and missile systems, triggered swift retaliation from Tehran.  In response, Iran launched waves of ballistic missiles and drones toward Israeli territory and allied targets across the Middle East. Some projectiles struck populated areas, causing casualties and damage, while others were intercepted by air-defense systems. Iran has also targeted regional infrastructure and military installations, exp...

Faith Begins With Hearing God’s Word

Welcome to Voice of Faith Daily, where the Word of God awakens faith, strengthens hearts, and guides our daily walk with the Lord. Today we are reflecting on a powerful truth that every believer must understand: Faith begins with hearing God’s Word. Faith does not grow from human opinion, emotions, or circumstances. True faith begins when a person hears the Word of God and allows that Word to settle deeply in the heart. The Bible clearly teaches us the source of faith: “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” — Romans 10:17 If faith is weak, the solution is not trying harder; the solution is hearing more of God’s Word. God’s Word is the seed that produces faith in the heart of a believer. 1. GOD’S WORD IS THE FOUNDATION OF FAITH Faith must stand on something solid, and that foundation is the Word of God. Without the Word, faith has no anchor. It becomes mere wishful thinking or human optimism. But when faith is rooted in God’s Word, it becomes strong and ...

THE FAITH THAT BELIEVES GOD’S PROMISE

By Ukeme Ben  Welcome to Voice of Faith Daily, where the Word of God builds our faith and strengthens our walk with Him. Today we are looking at a powerful truth: The Faith That Believes God’s Promise. Faith is not just believing that God exists. Trufaith believes what God has spoken and trusts that His promises will surely come to pass. The Word of God reminds us that every promise of God is faithful, reliable, and powerful. 1. Faith Begins With Trusting God’s Word True faith begins when we accept that God’s Word is trustworthy. God cannot lie. When He makes a promise, He has already committed Himself to fulfilling it. Faith rests on the confidence that what God says is true, even before we see the evidence. Scripture Numbers 23:19 "God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and shall He not do it?" When we trust God's Word, our faith becomes strong. Prayer Point Father, help me to trust Your Word completely. Remov...

In the court filings, the ICPC urged the court to dismiss the suit, insisting its operatives acted under a valid search warrant issued on February 18 and executed on February 19 between 1:37pm and 3:56pm at 12 Mambilla Street, Asokoro, Abuja. The commission said its officials were accompanied by personnel of the Nigeria Police Force, and that the exercise was witnessed by El-Rufai’s wife, Hadiza El-Rufai, and his son, Mohammed El-Rufai. REALITY TRUTH #4 — COMFORT ZONE

By Ukeme Ben Faith-Based Teaching Welcome to Voice of Faith Daily. One of the quietest killers of destiny is not sin… not lack of prayer… but comfort. Many believers are gifted, anointed, and called  but they are too comfortable to move. Today, we confront the comfort zone. 🔍 REALITY TRUTH — COMFORT FEELS SAFE BUT STOPS GROWTH Visit our channel for more via:https://youtu.be/C0nkEsYXdU4?si=5g0f3RdMwxkVV4q0 Your comfort zone is the place where: There is no risk There is no stretching There is no pressure to grow But hear this clearly: 🔥 Faith does not grow in comfort. 🔥 Faith grows in obedience. God never called His people to live by comfort — He called us to live by faith. 📖 Second Epistle to the Corinthians 5:7 “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” Faith will always require movement beyond what feels safe. 🚨 BIBLICAL EXAMPLE — THE SERVANT WHO PLAYED SAFE In the parable of the talents: 📖 Gospel of Matthew 25:25 “I was afraid… and hid thy talent…” Notice: ❌ He did not was...

WHY GIFTS GO DORMANT

By Ukeme Ben Main Text: First Epistle to Timothy 4:14 Welcome to Voice of Faith Daily. Many believers are gifted… but not effective. Anointed… but inactive. The question is not: ❌ Do you have a gift? ✅ The question is: Why has it gone quiet? Today we expose the destiny killers. 🔍 REALITY TRUTH #1 — NEGLECT 📖 “Neglect not the gift that is in thee…” Neglect is the slow killer of greatness. You don’t lose your gift overnight. You lose it gradually. It happens when: You stop praying You stop practicing You stop growing You keep postponing 🔥 What you don’t use, you lose strength in. ⚠️ REALITY TRUTH #2 — FEAR 📖 Second Epistle to Timothy 1:7 Fear is one of the biggest silencers of destiny. Fear says: “You are not ready.” “People will judge you.” “Wait for the perfect time.” But hear this clearly: 🔥 Fear does not stop the call. 🔥 Fear only delays your obedience. 🚨 REALITY TRUTH #3 — COMPARISON Comparison is destiny poison. When you constantly watch others, you start doubting your...

TRUE FAITH OBEYS EVEN WHEN IT DOES NOT UNDERSTAND When God called Abraham, He did not give him the full map only the instruction. Abraham “went out, not knowing whither he went.” This is the nature of faith. Many people say: “Lord, explain it first.” “Lord, show me e...

WHAT TRUE FAITH LOOK LIKE

Ben Ukeme Key Scripture “But without faith it is impossible to please Him…” — Hebrews 11:6 “The just shall live by faith.” — Habakkuk 2:4 True faith is more than words. It is more than emotion. It is more than saying, “I believe.” True faith is visible. It shows up in how we live, how we respond, and how we obey God. Let us look at what true faith really looks like. 1. TRUE FAITH OBEYS GOD COMPLETELY “By faith Abraham obeyed…” — Hebrews 11:8 Faith is not passive. It moves. Abraham did not just believe God — he acted on what God said. True faith obeys: Even when it does not understand Even when it is uncomfortable Even when it is costly Faith is trust in action. 2. TRUE FAITH TRUSTS GOD’S CHARACTER True faith believes: God is faithful God keeps His promises God is good even when life is difficult Faith says, “Even if I don’t see it yet, I trust Him.” It is confidence in who God is, not just what He can give. 3. U.S. Eight Nigerians face sanctions due to alleged connections to cybercrime and Boko Haram.

According to U.S. authorities, the individuals are accused of having connections to Boko Haram, as well as involvement in international cyber fraud operations.  Officials say the sanctions are part of broader efforts to disrupt terrorism financing and dismantle global cybercrime networks.  Under the sanctions, any assets the individuals may have within U.S. jurisdiction will be frozen. According to U.S. officials, the move aims to limit financial support for extremist groups and online criminal activities and strengthen international security cooperation. However, investigations into financial crime and counterterrorism have previously been conducted jointly by both nations.

Sacrifice without faith becomes disobedience

WHEN RELIGION REPLACES RELATIONSHIP Many people think sacrifice can replace obedience God desires faith-filled obedience, not religious activity Sacrifice without faith becomes rebellion in disguise 🔑 Central Truth: God is pleased by faith-driven obedience, not empty sacrifice. II. UNDERSTANDING THE STORY OF SAUL Text: 1 Samuel 15 God gave Saul clear instructions Saul partially obeyed Saul kept what God said destroy Then offered sacrifice to cover disobedience Saul thought sacrifice would compensate for disobedience. 🔑 Partial obedience is still disobedience. III. WHY SACRIFICE WITHOUT FAITH IS DISOBEDIENCE 1. Because It Ignores God’s Word Faith trusts and obeys God’s instructions. Sacrifice without faith chooses personal reasoning over divine command. Obedience flows from faith. 2. Because It Substitutes Action for Trust Faith says, “I will do exactly what God says.” Disobedience says, “I will do something religious instead.” You cannot negotiate with God through sacrifice. 3....
